Former Minister of Commerce For Iraq To Speak at BTAC


Captain Dan Rice, Airborne-Ranger Will Share His Experience Rebuilding Iraq's Commercial Infrastructure

New York, NY — The Business Threat Awareness Council will hold a breakfast meeting with special guest speaker, Captain Dan Rice on Tuesday Feb 28, 2006 at 9:00 AM in midtown Manhattan.

Captain Rice has just returned from serving 16 months as acting Minister of Commerce for northern Iraq.

His topic will center on the economy as the basis for national security, and he will share some of his recent experiences counting Saddam's millions and surviving an IED blast.

Captain Rice holds a BS in National Security studies from West Point, and an MBA from Kellogg. He is an Airborne-Ranger and in civilian life, a Vice President of US Trust Company in NYC. His blogsite from Iraq has some great pictures: http://www.iraqcommerce.blogspot.com/
